Seismic hazard microzonation of Bengkulu City, Indonesia

Abstract It has been known that Bengkulu City (Indonesia) is vulnerable to undergo seismic damage. This study initiated by measuring horizontal vertical spectral ratio ( H/V ) sites in using microtremor. The inversion analysis performed generate shear wave velocity profile. Hundreds of are investigated this study. results show observed consistent with the theoretical . National Earthquake Hazard Reduction Program code adopted classify site class. also exhibit dominated Site Classes C and D. In general, could lead local government consider hazard mitigation for spatial plan.
